Live Stats (Game 1) (Game 2)
The Scots defeated both Roanoke and Rhodes last time out, and both victories were of the comeback variety. Roanoke led 3-0 and 4-1 before the Scots scored four runs over their final three at bats. First-year catcherÂ
Tate Romero had the go-ahead base hit in the bottom of the sixth, a two-out single to left scoringÂ
Emma Blankenship. It was Blankenship who began the winning rally with a one-out triple into the right-center field gap.
Â
In the nightcap, Maryville led 2-1 only to watch Rhodes score single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to claim a 4-2 advantage. But the Scots strung together five consecutive hits to start their half of the seventh and scored three runs without making an out.
The Scots sit at 3-7 while Muskingam is 1-1 and Ferrum is 2-8.

After fighting their way back from a 3-1 deficit in the sixth, the Scots fell on Friday night to Montclair 10-8.Â
An exciting matchup between two excellent teams was decided in the final two innings as Montclair added an insurance run in each to prevent the Maryville comeback in the bottom of the ninth.Â
Maryville now sits at 9-3 on the season, while Greensboro improved to 7-5 with a win over Adrian last night.
