Softball Lands Five on Academic All-District

College Sports Communicators Support Student-Athletes

CSC Release

MARYVILLE – Maryville landed the maximum five student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators' 2025 Academic All-District Softball Team.

Brecca Williams and Paige Dickinson are repeat recipients, with Williams named for the third consecutive year. Williams took home CSC Academic All-District honors in all three of her eligible seasons, and Dickinson has claimed the honor in both of her eligible seasons to date. First-year student-athletes are not eligible for Academic All-District recognition. Emma Blankenship, Jessica Harris and Olivia Harris are Maryville's first-time honorees.

Williams earned All-Region VI First Team honors after batting .559 to rank second nationally and producing a career-high 76 hits to finish in the top five nationally. She led the Collegiate Conference of the South with a .632 on-base percentage and ranked top-five in the league in slugging percentage at .779, OPS at 1.411, runs scored with 46, walks with 20 and stolen bases with 17. This season was the best of her career for batting average, hits, doubles (13), home runs (3), RBIs (33), slugging percentage, fewest strikeouts (7) and on-base percentage. For her career, Williams finished with a .412 batting average and 225 hits.

Dickinson surpassed her RBI total from a year ago (42) with 46 to lead the team and rank fourth in the CCS. She tied for the team lead with five home runs and batted .366, or 41 points higher than last season. Her 49 hits tied for ninth in the CCS. Despite playing two few games, Dickinson surpassed totals from a year ago in hits, runs (28), doubles (13), homers and walks (22), and she matched her strikeout low with just 14. She also pitched her way to a 6-4 record over 23 appearances covering a career-high 66.2 innings. Over three seasons, Dickinson stands 14-7 in the circle and sports a .323 batting average.

Blankenship emerged as a regular contributor this season, playing 38 games and starting 32. She batted .289 and tied for the team lead with four triples. Her .398 on-base percentage ranked third and, among the team's regulars, she was fourth in both OPS at .820 and slugging percentage at .422.

The sister duo of Jessica and Olivia Harris made an impact during their first season in Maryville. Jessica batted .295 and finished third on the team with 31 runs scored. She played in all 43 games with 42 starts. Olivia batted .255 in 36 games with 33 starts. She was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases and tied for fifth on the team with 17 runs scored.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
