Zani Named CCS Softball Player of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga.  – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its softball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday.

Catie Zani (Maryville) was named Player of the Week.

Catie Zani powered Maryville to a 3–1 weekend against Lyon and Rhodes with a strong all-around performance at the plate. The sophomore outfielder collected eight hits, including two home runs and a double, while driving in seven runs to lead the Scots' offense. Zani also contributed defensively with three putouts and a perfect fielding percentage over the weekend.
