Maryville capped a memorable stretch of games with Sunday's win, highlighted by victories over two nationally ranked opponents earlier in the week.

The Scots opened the run with one of the biggest wins in program history Tuesday, defeating No. 4 Lynchburg 8-3 at Scotland Yard. Maryville collected 16 hits in the upset victory, with Masin Hall homering and Frank Derner recording four hits. Cody Boisvert earned the win and Xavier Resto closed the game with four innings of relief.

Maryville then traveled to High Point, North Carolina, where the Scots rallied for a dramatic 12-11 victory over No. 9 Adrian. Trailing by six runs entering the eighth inning, Maryville exploded for seven runs in the frame to complete the comeback. Nick Curry led the offense with four hits and four RBIs, while Titus Suggs delivered a pivotal three-run double during the rally.

The Scots wrapped up the trip Sunday with their most decisive offensive performance of the week in the 14-1 victory over Greensboro, finishing the stretch with three wins in four games.
