Head Coach Darrin Travillian had this to say about the Scots' victory. "I'm really proud of how gritty we were today. We really got after it on the boards and made big plays late. Lauren Burnett was a beast with her double-double. We found ways to win and had great contributions from everyone who stepped on the floor."
MC will challenge tournament host Transylvania on Saturday. Transylvania defeated Adrian College 80-71 earlier on Friday. Tip-off against the Pioneers is slated for 3:00 p.m.
