The Maryville College men's tennis team dropped their season's opening match to LaGrange College by the score of 8-1 on Saturday afternoon on MC's campus courts. The complete match results included:

3. Jordan Keller (MC) lost to Kevin Folsolm (LC) 6-4, 6-2
4. Dakota McMahan (MC) lost to Wade Fegley (LC) 6-3, 6-0
5. Tony Gill (MC) defeated Solomon Jones (LC) 6-1, 6-2
6. Matt Likins (MC) lost to Steve Harrison (LC) 6-4, 6-2
Doubles:
1. Hutson/Martalla (MC) lost to Glass/Fegley (LC) 8-2
2. Keller/Gill (MC) lost to Wendel/Folsom (LC) 8-5
3. McMahan/Likins (MC) lost to Jones/Harrison (LC) 8-5
