The Maryville College women's tennis program kicked-off their 2019 spring campaign with a 6-3 loss to USA South foe Covenant College at Tyson Park in Knoxville, Tennessee on Friday.
Covenant took the doubles challenges 2-1 as Esther Eddy/Margo Koby (CC) defeated Kayla Zimmerman/ Anastasia Dunn (MVC) 8-2. Maryville took the #2 doubles when McKennah Francis/ Carter Dickinson (MVC) defeated Mariah Westra/ Masha Lanska (CC) 8-3. Covenant took the final doubles challenge when Laney Beckwith/ Justine Blick (CC) defeated Kayla Basilio/ Savannah Stewart (MVC) 8-3.
