Centre Indoor Showcase Official Scoring
DANVILLE, Ky. – Maryville brought home another 20 personal records and added four school records to its haul from the Centre Indoor Showcase over the weekend.

Teddy Orton led the way for the Scots by winning the 60m hurdles with a school-record and PR time of 8.49 seconds. He ran 8.52 in the preliminaries.

Other top finishers saw
Tyler Tangel ninth in the 3000m run with a school-record and PR time of 10:01.30. Tangel just out-distanced teammate
Steve Cope, who posted a PR time of 10:01.68.
James LeNeve finished 10th in the mile run with a school-record and PR time of 4:53.88, and he was 19th in the 1000m run with another school-record and PR time of 2:56.54.

Elvin Wagner contributed a PR in the triple jump with a leap of 12.29m, while Cope PRed in the mile run in 4:56.20. Also posting PRs in the mile were Tangel in 5:05.23 and
Sam Cocchia in 5:15.51.

Personal records in the 800m went to
Terry Gonzalez for 2:22.89 and
Gustavo Hernandez for 2:24.88.
John Siepert (39:31) and
Landen Parker (42:03) both earned PRs in the 300m run, while
Jaden Marlin had a PR in the weight throw with a toss of 12.11m. PRs in the 200m dash went to Zaiven Hart (25.59) and
Julian Martinez (25.87), while four Scots gained personal records in the 60m dash: Tory Crenshaw (7.42), Siepert (7.47), Hart (7.78) and Martinez (7.72).

Marlin in the shot put and
Cam Robinson in the weight throw earned season-best distances of 11.96m and 12.95m, respectively.

The Scots as a team finished in 15th place with 10 points. Maryville is back at the Centre indoor facility on Feb. 15 for the Centre Multi.
