Women's Tennis Competes in Final Match of Fall Season

Women Look Towards Spring Season

MARYVILLE, Tenn. - Maryville College competed against Indiana-Southeast for the second time in two seasons, this time with many key changes in the lineup. While competitive, Indiana-Southeast got the better of Maryville again.

"We've played a couple of fall scrimmages against quality opponents which is challenging, especially with a young team," Corbett said.

Doubles fell through for the Scots, with the closest scoreline being a 3-6 loss from Kaitlyn Redwine and Maggie Hackney. In singles, Redwine had the closest set, and Jasmine Muecke also had a competitive match, with a score of 3-6 2-6. This match marks the end of the fall season for Women's Tennis.

"These teams clearly exposed areas that we need to work on in the offseason," Corbett said. "This will help us prepare for the spring."

They look forward to their first match of the spring season, against Ohio Wesleyan University on February 13th. The match will be played at Western Athletic Club.
