MT. GILEAD, N.C. – Emma Clonan posted a second consecutive 86 to help Maryville land in fifth place at the Jack Ingram/Pfeiffer Women's Invitational in North Carolina.
 
The Scots shot 364 on Tuesday after an opening 355. They finished ahead of sixth-place Bluefield and just behind fourth-place Wooster. Mount St. Joseph (640) took home team and medalist honors by comfortable margins, with Aly Haverstraw the individual winner at 6-over 150.
 
Clonan landed all alone in 14th place on the strength of her 86-86—172 scorecard. MaKenzie Pile was next for the Scots at 181, followed by Lillie Peterson and Chloe Dunlap at 183.
 
The Scots are back in action April 12-13 at the SU Preview at Timbergate, hosted by Spalding in Edinburgh, Indiana.
