MARYVILLE - Day one of the CCS Track and Field Championships yields six top-5 finishers and three PRs as the Scots sit in fourth place.
Abbey Cox led the way for Maryville with a second place finish in hammer throw with an impressive 39.23 meter distance.
Bonnie Lauderback was right behind in fourth place with a throw of 36.51 meters.
Hailee Hardman placed third in the high jump, with a clearance height of 1.41 meters.
Alana Rodriguez and
Hailee Hardman placed third and fourth in the long jump, with 4.95m and 4.73m jumps respectively. Rodriguez's jump set a school record.
Mariah Thornton finished fourth and set a school record and PR with 17.67 seconds in the 100m hurdles prelims.
Harmonee King also set a PR with a time of 13.24 in the 100m run prelims, placing 8th.
Rachel Dunbar placed 7th in the hammer throw with a distance of 33.73m, also setting a PR.
The Scots are back at it at 9 AM with an
updated schedule due to weather precautions. The events will be on a rolling schedule.
