Fitzsimmons Named Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga.  - Steven Fitzsimmons was selected as Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week.

Steven Fitzsimmons played a key role in Maryville's 7–0 victory over Huntingdon, earning wins in both singles and doubles competition. Competing at the No. 5 singles position, the freshman secured a 6–3, 4–6, 10–7 victory over Huntingdon's Peer. Fitzsimmons also teamed with James Smith at the No. 1 doubles spot, where the pair earned a 6–2 win over Huntingdon's Garcia and Philley to help set the tone for the Scots.
