CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
ATLANTA, Ga. (April 20, 2026) - The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has officially announced the seedings and bracket for the 2026 CCS Men's Tennis Championship Tournament. The three-day event will take place from Thursday, April 23, through Saturday, April 25, in Murfreesboro, Tenn., with the top six programs vying for the conference crown.
Quarterfinal action opens with an afternoon slate, as No. 3 seed Maryville (11-6, 4-2 CCS)
faces No. 6 seed Belhaven (3-17, 1-5 CCS) at 2 p.m. CT. The second matchup will feature No. 4 seed Piedmont (11-9, 4-2 CCS) taking on No. 5 seed Huntingdon (4-9, 2-4 CCS).
The No. 2 through No. 4 seeds were determined following a three-way tie in conference play between Covenant, Maryville, and Piedmont, each finishing with identical 4-2 league records. Covenant secured the No. 2 seed by owning the highest strength of schedule ranking, ahead of Piedmont and Maryville. Maryville earned the No. 3 seed by virtue of its head-to-head victory over Piedmont, placing the Lions as the No. 4 seed.
The winners of Thursday's contests will advance to Friday's semifinals, where the tournament's top two seeds await.
Asbury (11-5, 6-0 CCS) enters the championship as the No. 1 seed for the second consecutive year after completing another undefeated run through conference play. The Eagles will face the winner of the Piedmont-Huntingdon matchup. No. 2 seed Covenant (12-10, 4-2 CCS) will take on the winner of the Maryville–Belhaven quarterfinal.
The tournament will conclude Saturday, April 25, as the semifinal winners meet in the 2026 CCS Men's Tennis Championship Final, with the conference title on the line.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
