Torbett Named CCS Week Eight Rookie of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga.  – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday.

Titus Torbett was tabbed Rookie of the Week.

Titus Torbett continued his impressive freshman campaign with a complete-game effort against a top-25 opponent. The left-hander went all seven innings, allowing just one run while striking out three and issuing two walks. Torbett's performance helped power Maryville to a 4-0 week for the Scots, which included a win over Berry and a series sweep of ETBU.
