Maryville College will play at home looking to improve coach's total all time wins record to 600 for his career this upcoming week against Covenant
With a road win at Mary Baldwin the Scots are now 6-4 on the season, 4-0 in conference play.
In the road victory it was all Scots supplying the offense. Eight different Scots would record goals on the day. In the first minute of play Kara Tubb put the Scots on the board jumping out to a 1-0 lead. Lizzy Simmons scored her first of two goals on the day in the seond minute. Making the score 3-0 Sierra Siegel found the net in the 7th minute. With her second goal of the day in the 8th minute Lizzy Simmons recorded yet another goal for the Scots. Kirsten Alcorn in the 16th minute put the Scots ahead of Mary Baldwin 5-0. In the 19th minute Kaitlyn Kennedy would find the back of the net after an assist from Lizzy Simmons. Recording her second goal of the contest Kirsten Alcorn added her second goal of the game; 7-0 in favor of the Scots. Still in the first half Allyson Hale scored an unassisted goal in the 25th minute. In the 30th Minute Gabby Billstrom added the 9th goal of the first half for the Scots. Monica Besbris scored her first goal of the season and tenth goal of the half in the 38th minute.
The Scots cooled off in the second half yet were able to score one goal in the 73rd minute on a unassisted goal from Sierra Siegel, her second goal of the day. Maryville recorded 45 total shots with 30 shots on goal in the victory.
Maryville will be back in action looking to continue their streak on Wednesday agains Covenant at 7:00pm.
