Box Score The Maryville College women's soccer team shot early and often in a 14-0 defeat of USA South foe Mary Baldwin College on Sunday afternoon on MC's campus field.
The Scots out shot the Fighting Squirrels 42-1 with 27 shots on goal during the contest.
Maryville's Mandy Marshall and Yarissa Castro earned the shutout in goal. Despite turning away 13 shots on goal, Mary Baldwin's Brittany Tenn suffered the loss in net. The Scots' Lizzy Simmons recorded a hat trick while Monica Besbris dished out a trio of assists.

The Scots will now prepare for a tough USA South road challenge on Wednesday when they travel to Demorest, Georgia to challenge Piedmont College.
