GREAT FALLS, Mont. - Former Scots pitcher
Mitchell Grannan has signed a contract to play for the Great Falls Voyagers in the Pioneer Baseball League, a professional baseball organization affiliated with the MLB.
Grannan made his debut this past Friday, throwing two innings and getting a strikeout. As a Scot, the Chattanooga native had a 4.14 ERA, 165.1 Innings Pitched, 76 Earned Runs, 96 Runs, 137 Hits Allowed, 182 Strikeouts, and 103 Walks. This year, he recorded a season-high 6 strikeouts against Washington (Mo.) in just 2.2 innings pitched, which was also his longest outing of the season... Led his team to five victories and closed three games with wins, earning the save... Had 9 hitless and 13 scoreless outings.
The Voyagers will play 78 more games through September.
