Eryk Watson is one of the most decorated players in Maryville College basketball history. A dynamic scorer and leader under coaches Randy Lambert and Kendal Wallace, Watson guided the Scots to three conference championships while building his legacy of excellence on the court.

From the moment he stepped on the hardwood, Watson stood out as he earned the 2008 Freshman of the Year honors prior to becoming the first four-time All-Conference player in school history. Watson's accolades include 2011 Conference Player of the Year, two-time All-American, two-time All-South Region, and three Conference Tournament MVP awards. Watson graduated as the program's second all-time leading scorer (1,943 points) and still holds the single-season record for three-pointers (94). His name remains across the record books: first in career free throws made (481), third in field goals (624), fourth in career threes (214), and top five in steals (184).

After Maryville, Watson went on to play professionally in Romania and Brazil and found success leading his own travel program, the E33 Eagles, to a 2021 National Championship. In 2020, Watson was honored as a Positive Coaching Alliance National Winner, recognizing his impact both on and off the court.
