Jessica Petersen was a four-year starter on the Maryville women's soccer team. She set the program records for season goals with 34 in 2008, career goals with 82, and tied for the program record in career assists with 42. Petersen was named 2007 GSAC Freshman of the Year and earned All-Conference honors in 2008, 2009, and 2010. She also earned All-South Region honors all three years. Petersen-Hunt was an NSCAA Academic All-American in 2009 and was the 2011 J.D Davis Award recipient, the Maryville College award given to senior student-athletes who exhibit leadership, athletics ability, Christian values, and academic achievement. Petersen-Hunt has been a teacher at Sam Houston Elementary School since graduating from Maryville College in 2011.
