Sarah Arlinghaus Gulley '04 played four seasons under head coach Kandis Schram. Her first season at Maryville coincided with the Scots first season in the Great South Athletic Conference. She was a three-year captain for the Scots and helped lead her team to three GSAC championships in four years. Arlinghaus earned All-GSAC honors in 2003 and 2004. Known for setting up her teammates, Arlinghaus led Maryville in assists three times. In her senior year of 2003, she recorded 1,216 assists (10.22/set) for the second-most in a season by a Maryville Scot since 1991. Arlinghaus was gifted in the classroom as well, earning academic honors all four years.
